Synopisis of the idea: Virtual visits of less than five minutes to a person, place, or thing using sketches, skits, and short introductions to locations. Internet Technologies and multimedia will be used to deliver the content. The following are just some the technologies possible: You Tube, Web Pages, PowerPoint, podcasting if appropriate, and other emerging technologies. The visual aspects of multimedia will be utilized the most since being able to see a place without being there is part of the desire of curious people. With eclectic animated Characters posed as buildings, tour buses, and character people (think fisher price people) a person can see a short fun, interesting piece about a place they might be curious about or be interested in visiting or just want to visit at least virtually. |

Target audience(s) for the digital stories will be those who are already on the Internet or willing to go to the Nets from word of mouth recommendation or from emails from their friends. Many people on the Internet today are looking for information or something different. Many have a short attention span and their interest must be peaked within the first minute. These sketches will be 2 to 5 minutes and with possible links to longer ones being available on click through activity. These are mini adventures. Funny sketches as well as real will be the mix of the offerings. Using pictures from trips or assignments, stories will be assembled about the places visited for both business and entertainment of the senses to nourish the soul of imagination. |
